On camera for the Collabs |
Lismore GP, Kingsley Pearson, has just starred in a short video to be shown at the Collaboratives wave 2 learning workshop on the changes made in his practice, Prema House.
As one of the Wave 1 Collaboratives practices, Prema House has made significant changes to the management of patient access to primary care. Kingsley was unable to attend the wave 2 learning workshop to share these innovations with the second wave as he is a solo GP.
Andrew Knight, chair of the Access Expert Reference Panel, who will be delivering the Access plenary session in Melbourne this month, was so impressed with Kingsley’s story, he requested that a short video be made. In the video, Kingsley talks about the innovations in his practice and their effect on improving chronic disease management, freeing up patient access, and perhaps most importantly, easing the stress of a solo GP.
