We love ya Spike Echidna! |
 Spike Echidna and Marianne Trent from the Northern Rivers Public Health Unit meet three-month old baby Phillip Sheehan from Lismore during the recent launch of the parent information vaccine website.
Spike Echidna was a sensation at the launch of www.vaccination.org.au on Saturday 8 March in Lismore. Parents and children alike were enchanted by the mascot for the parent information website, set up by the Northern Rivers Public Health Unit and the Northern Rivers Division of General Practice.
The launch provided immunisation staff from both organisations a chance to talk to parents about the immunisation information available on the website and give them a tour around the site.
Spike was kept busy meeting children and their parents, giving out balloons and stickers, and posing for photos.
Spike and friends will be meeting parents and children in the Ballina area in the next month. Details to follow.
